The New Zealand Climate Change Commission has released its next draft advice to the Government in April 2023 and this is open for consultations until June 20 2023. The Climate Change Commission will resent its final advice to the government by December 31 2023.

The Commission’s draft advice is largely similar to the last advice provided, which was not followed by the government in 2022, resulting in uncertainty on the NZ Emission Trading Scheme and a subsequent significant fall in prices of NZUs.
